Our latest course, developed with Buchanan Order Management, is an introduction to traffic orders and order making. It includes a particular emphasis on using maps as the order schedules - the modern method that is being rapidly adopted across Britain.
This one-day session assumes no previous knowledge of the subject and is intended to give a thorough overview for those who manage civil enforcement or are involved in the introduction of changes to parking or moving traffic measures. It is also intended for those who are considering the move from text-based to map-based TROs.
It will cover:
- What can an order regulate?
- Relevant Acts and secondary legislation.
- The structure and content of a traffic order
- Map schedules v text schedules
- Detailed considerations for map-based orders
- Notices, advertising and consultation
- Practical order making
