Parking Services

See a preview of ParkMap 6.2, the heart of our Parking service. The latest version will be released next month, and as ever it will include many new features designed to help you efficiently manage your traffic orders. Enhancements range from tools that will help you manage and maintain compliant parking zone addresses, to improvements of the temporal handling of experimental orders.

Also, find out about our Cloud based Parking service which provides an integrated solution, with all the elements you need to design, consult, make, and then to share, manage and maintain your different types of traffic orders. All looked after within our private parking cloud, a secure and highly resilient environment.

Collision Analysis Service

With the pending release of AccsMap 5.5, we will be showing how you can enhance your analysis by incorporating additional open data sets. Data sets include population, deprivation index and additional collision data available from the AccsMap’s download centre.

See how your authority can benefit from our cloud based service, providing you with both a secure platform, and a web portal for non-specialist.

Traffic Signing Applications

SignPlot 3.4, will be launched at the show. It features a wizard to create very easily any type of bus lane sign, including offside ones and bilingual signs for Wales. Come and see the amazing tool that makes all types of lane indication sign a breeze and is currently being used by DfT to formulate the layout rules in the forthcoming revision of Chapter 7 of the Traffic Signs Manual.

Free Software. A free stand-alone version of the new SignPlot sign illumination tool will be available to Traffex delegates. It unravels the mysteries of TSRGD 2016 to tell you precisely what lighting or reflective material is legally required for any upright traffic sign. It will join our other free signing application, SignLoad Designer, the Professional edition of which has been further enhanced to provide for heavy variable message signs, and is available from our new on-line shop (BuchananShop.uk).

Cloud Services

Following on from the success of private clouds, we are building a new fully supported cloud environment specifically attuned for open source applications such as Postgres and QGIS.
