Only a month after the annoucement below, we’re today launching version 3.61 of SignPlot with the added feature of sign face images brought automatically into sign schedules in Excel.

27 September 2019

Hot on the heels of SignLoad Professional 3.60, comes its companion version of SignPlot. It was launched and well-received at the User Group on 24 September and is now available for registered users to download (from here).

It has so many new features, that we had very nearly cleared the wish list. But innovative thinking at the User Group has added some more for us to implement at the next upgrade!

Foremost among the 27 improvements is text search and replace that works out and warns of the consequences of any change before making it. And coming a close second is the ability to perform operations such as exporting to a graphics file and adding to a sign schedule on multiple signs at once, both championed by Sustrans who have hundreds of signs to manage on new cycle routes. The most visual change is perhaps ‘Holly’ the hedgehog (small mammals warning sign), first available to download from our website in June within 30 minutes of the sign being announced by DfT, but now a permanent part of SignPlot. Other changes include fingerpost arms, the colours used on cycle routes in London and, of course, all the changes in SignLoad Professional 3.60, as it is built into SignPlot.
