Buchanan graphics enliven new Chapter 8 Part 3
Our work for Highways England has created a Part 3 with crisp scalable graphics for the first time.
Plan DZE6 in Part 3 (click to enlarge)The revised Traffic Signs Manual Chapter8 Part 3 was put on the DfT website yesterday with all the graphics revised, mostly by Buchanan Computing. Highways England has also updated the wording in several important respects.
The graphics in the previous (2016) edition were poor quality bitmaps and caused the document to be a bloated 10 Mb. Using SignPlot, we have made all relevant graphics into crisp and compact vector images that can be enlarged without problem in the resulting PDF.
