SurveyMap, Buchanan Computing’s latest software package, helps local authorities understand parking behaviour. It was developed in conjunction with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to display and review parking occupancy surveys carried out over the last six years.

Since its launch, SurveyMap has been used to improve the management of on-street parking by identifying pressurised areas, analysing parking schemes and zones, and by monitoring both the occupancy levels of parking places and the prevalence of illegally parked vehicles. In addition to carrying out analysis at street level, when SurveyMap is used in conjunction with ParkMap, data can be analysed in detail for each individual bay or restriction.
